Along with the flagship store, Victoria Benatar Architect, PLLC also designed Steve Madden’s Upper East Side location.
This prototype store targeted women, and as a result, the location was designed as an embodiment of femininity. The simple geometric forms provided a luxurious atmosphere, while the curves and pink hues gave it a sensual feel. Lighting was especially designed to enhance the beauty of the shoes. Post renovation, sales doubled from the previous year.
